Our Adult Pet Wellness Program is designed to safeguard the health of your pet. This program allows us to increase your pet’s lifespan and quality of life through proactive preventive health care. A physical exam cannot always identify all veterinary health problems, that is why it is important that your pet receive wellness screenings to promote early diagnosis and to uncover any hidden problems.
To prove our commitment to your pet’s health, we will provide COMPLIMENTARY CORE VACCINES:
Feline – Distemper, Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Chlamydia, and Rabies (if needed)
Canine – Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, Parovirus, Bordatella, and Rabies (if needed)
ADULT WELLNESS INCLUDES:
Wellness Physical Exam – Includes weight, temperature, pulse, resipration, oral exam, eyes, ears, muscle, bones and joints.
Complete Blood Count – Tests for anemia, infection, inflammation and overal healthiness of the blood cells. White Blood Cells (WBC’s) help fight infection or inflammation. Red Blood Cells (RBC’s) carry oxygen to the tissues.
Blood Chemistry Profile – Tests the many organ systems (Liver, Kidney, Pancreas, Muscle and Bone) of the body to make sure they are working normally.
Heartworm Test (dogs) – Especially useful in determining heartworm infection in animals coming from areas where mosquitoes are prevalent.
Intestinal Parasite Test – A test run on your pet’s stool sample to look for hookworms, whipworms, roundworms, coccidian, and other internal parasites.
Felv/FIV Test (cats) – Test for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus. Although cats can live a long life with either of these diseases, there is no treatment and they can pass the disease to other cats.
